The Mint of the United States has issued a series of new pence, the first of which began broadcasting on February 12. Three more are on the road throughout the year in May, August and November. The coins are being released in honor of the 200th anniversary of former President Abraham Lincoln.
The first began circulating in Lincoln 1909, 100 years ago and was the first time a U.S. coin included the phrase "In God We Trust." It was also the first time he had a figure, started feeling against the Americans after the 100th anniversary of Lincoln – as one of U.S. presidents most popular in history, probably, no doubt that this distinction could give Lincoln, who was responsible for freeing the slaves of America and is known for his humble origins.
The first part, replaced 50 years ago, had two ears of corn in front of a portrait of Lincoln, and some subtypes have a panorama of today's Lincoln Monument, Lincoln, with the diminutive figure in the middle column.
The new coins, which, because of the rising price of copper and zinc, will cost 1.4 cents to produce, are four important stages of the life of former president – which contains a representation of the cabin of Lincoln, Lincoln, a rail-Splitter, Lincoln in front of the legislature of Illinois, and semi-products from the United States recalls the construction of capital before the American Civil War Lincoln, when he was inaugurated as U.S. president 16 in 1861.
The U.S. Mint also reported a commemorative silver dollar will Lincoln later this year. Check your local sidewalk the end of the month to find one of these precious heritage of American society.
